3. Senior Companion Travel Vouchers ................$25

Volunteer senior companions visit with elderly residents. Vouchers help pay for the cost to transport residents to/from the grocery store, the Post Office, a hair appointment, or just out for a leisurely ride.

Thick wedges of red cedar help children learn about trees, counting the rings to see how old it was. These 'cookies' inspire play and encourage sharing.

A new refrigerator in the Parkside Neighborhood Center kitchen will provide more space to store healthy snacks for after-school programs (for youth ages 6-18), and for weekly Supper Club events (serving families with young children).

As diapers are quite expensive and cannot be purchased with food vouchers, low-income families struggle to provide these items. One bundle of diapers (sizes 1-6) can help a local family and their child.

A total of 40 washable, durable, plastic pieces with big grip handles perfect for little hands and imaginations. Includes a tea kettle, pots, frying pans, mixing and measuring bowls, utensils and a real timer.

Each piece of "food" is made of wood, painted with beautiful detail, and boxed in a 4" x 6" wooden crate for sorting and stacking. Children mix and match the four food groups to make a well-balanced meal.

Donations will be applied to the wish you designate. If sufficient funds have been received to fulfill that wish, we will use your gift (unless you instruct us otherwise) to fulfill other wishes in support of the mission of PROP.
